The christian humanitarian organization World Vision works in many countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America to alleviate the plight of the world. It supports children, families and their environment in the fight against poverty and injustice through targeted help to self-help. Working professionally and in partnership, World Vision helps people who need help the most, regardless of ethnicity, religion or nationality. Since 2002, Judy Bailey has been an ambassador for the relief organization and traveled to World Vision projects in the Congo, Tanzania, Rwanda, Senegal and Burundi, as well as Brazil, to get an idea of the work on the ground. With her family, she has supported sponsored children and by doing so families and regional development projects for more than 15 years. She accompanied Asha, whom she met in Tanzania, throughout her childhood and youth. Currently she supports Moise and his family in Burundi.
A report of her trip can be found here.
